Serenada Travel Information
Travel by boat .
Departure Time: between 8:30 a.m - 1.00 p.m.
Departure Point: Beach House, Ggaba (not Ggaba landing site) next to Kampala University.
Return from Serenada to Beach House, Ggaba: Not later than 3.30 p.m.
Guest using their own boats will be required to pay landing fees of Shs.20,00 per boat.
Travel by road to Serenada Eco Resort.
Take Jinja Road from Kampala, after Mukono Town you turn right at Wantoni stage and follow Katosi Road to Kyetume, continue up to Kisoga Trading Centre where you will turn right, continue until you reach Ntenjeru then you turn right where there is a Serenada sign post, take that road which goes to Mpatta and Bule Landing site. Then follow Serenada Eco Resort sign posts at the following junctions, Bugoye, Bugigi and Mpatta. From Mpatta continue driving towards Bule Landing Site until you find another Serenada Eco Resort sign post on the left side to Butere village, follow that road to Butere village until you find find another sign post on the right side (2 km to the resort) and then take that road which leads you straight to the main gate of the resort. The resort is just 2 Km from Butere. The distance from Kampala to the resort by road is about 65 Km and takes about 2 hours.
The distance by boat from the departure point at Beach House, Gaba to the resort is 7 km. and takes 40 minutes and by road from Kampala via Mukono is about 65 km. Our comfortable fiber glass boats are engine powered with canopies and also equipped with life jackets.
